Experience & Resumé
January 2019–April 2019
FableVision, Marketing Intern
In my first creative agency internship, I was a Marketing Intern for FableVision, a multi-media production studio. I worked directly with senior staff to develop content strategy and marketing campaigns, drafted social media content for FableVision’s social media pages, wrote case studies about recent projects for the company database, recorded temporary voice-over for video game projects, and maintained the company blog. I also collaborated with my intern colleagues to create an online interactive map that highlights Boston-based educational activities for kids.
June 2018–August 2018
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sales Communications Intern
During the summer of 2018, I was the Sales Communications intern for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. In this role, I created a new logo for the Sales Division, new templates for the sales training guides, and managed online content for the Proposal Development Services team. During my internship, I had the opportunity to attend several workshops, including one about Design Thinking, and learned a lot about the health care industry. Through internship events, I was able to form strong bonds with my peers and make some great new friends too!
January 2018–May 2018
Harvard Medical School, Office of Communications & External Relations, Editorial Intern
During the spring semester of my junior year, I was the Editorial Intern for the Office of Communications & External Relations at Harvard Medical School. In my role, I was able to write about HMS events and pursue interviews with many different members of the community. I worked closely with the OCER team to break down news releases, manage articles in the Drupal content management system, and write pieces for the Harvard Medical School website. I even had the opportunity to write an article about Yo-Yo Ma's visit to HMS as the artist-in-residence!
May 2017–August 2017
New England Aquarium, Visitor Education Intern
As my first internship, in the summer of 2017, I was a Visitor Education Intern at the New England Aquarium. In that role, I answered questions for visitors, ran activities for the Science of Sharks program, and implemented two original presentations (one on the effects of deforestation on Pacman frogs, and one on the effects of climate change on turtle egg nests). I made some great friends, refined my public speaking skills, and learned a lot about the science of climate change!
